But most breakups happen exactly because of the issues I speak here, it comes down to the breakdown of communication.
Remember the “challenge” that I talked about earlier? A lot of things go wrong when couples are unable to communicate well. Although sex may seem like it has nothing to do with communication, in long-term relationships, sharing one’s pleasure, passion, and desires are what makes couple’s sex life healthy. That’s how I know your sex life was not as good as it was nearing the breakup.
When communication breaks down, your affection, respect, and romance, they all dip below any woman’s desired level. It isn’t hard to imagine why you would no longer be a challenge to her anymore. Take some time to analyze the specific problems, fix what need be fixing, and don’t ever make the same mistakes again.
When you believe you’ve finally understood your girlfriend’s point of view, this would be the time to contact her and have a heart to heart. There is nothing that you can do if she doesn’t even want to talk to you, but in most situations, an ex girlfriend will give you a chance for your say. Give her an honest take on how you’ve changed and what had helped you understand her.
Be honest with her and she will return the favor with an honest answer. At the very least you’ll know if the boat had sailed already or if you still have a chance with her. If ultimately she decides she doesn’t want you back, then accept the outcome and let her be as a real man would. But if she decides to take you back or at least give you a chance to change her mind, then it will be up to you to make this happen from this point on.
